Mary Van Zytveld

RT(R), RDMS, RDCS

Mary Van Zytveld joined WHCA in 1989 and has extensive experience in the field of OB/Gyn Ultrasound.                

Mary earned her Radiologic Technology License in 1976.  She went on to establish a strong imaging foundation working in X-ray Technology, Mammography, CT Scanning, and Special Angiography Procedures.   It was during this time that Mary also entered the brand new and fascinating field of Ultrasound.   By 1980, Mary was Board Registered in Ultrasound, earning her RDMS credentials in Obstetrics/Gynecology and General Abdominal Ultrasound.   In 1984, she earned her RDCS credential in Adult Echocardiography.   The Fetal Medicine Foundation approved Mary for certification in Fetal Nuchal Translucency (Ultrascreen) and Fetal Nasal Bone imaging in 2005.  She also received a certification from the FMF in Cervical Length Assessment in 2010.  She is knowledgeable in Doppler, Color Doppler, 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging.

Mary is extremely dedicated to performing high quality, detailed ultrasound scans for our gynecology patients of all ages and our obstetric patients in all stages of pregnancy.  She uses state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.   

Mary is a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Mary is married with three children.  She loves exercise, sunshine and family activities.
